Ork Kill Bursta Vol III

Sorry guys, I took some time off to work on my skaven. This week I spent some time on the main gun.

I'll continue adding details to the main gun and armor plating to the hull. After that it's off to the engine and exaust system.

Ork Kill Bursta Vol II

The next step are sponsons for the twin linked big shootas for the superheavy. I've made two different types of turrets, take a look and tell which one you like better. Remember the guns, bolts, copula, etc. will be on the final model.

Ork Kill Bursta Vol I

Not enough dough to buy the Forgeworld model. So I'm going with a landraider kit and a pile of scrap styrene from work.

This is the basic hull shape with the landraider tracks mounted on the sides.

New Terrain

Here's a couple samples of some of the new terrain I've been working on. Generic but easy to build, paint and get on the table. Hopfully they will be avalible as muilti part kits soon.

Du Bois Campaign Game 1

Game one of a three to five game campaign started this weekend. Colonel 'Iron Hand' Stricken and his jungle fighters have been tasked to liberate this planet of invading chaos marines. The first attempt made by the Space Wolves was unsuccessful but the grip of chaos was loosened.

Game one finds the guard on a rescue mission to save last survivors of a grey wolf squad and at the same time regain control of a captured bastion.

While 'Iron Hand' and his boys managed to scrap the Khorne Marines with heavy flamer and melta they were unable to recapture the bastion. All that time catching a stray puppy. The game end in a draw but fun non the less.

Game two is coming soon... Background and scenario rules to come!

Heavy Flamer Chimera

I've completed my Heavy Flamer turret conversion for my mechanized Imperial Guard. Since the new IG book has lowered the cost of Chimeras. I've taken advantage of "cash for clunkers" and expanded my motor pool to six Chimeras.

The turret's extra armor and heavy flamer are all cut out of plasticard. The tip of the barrel was simply bent over a metal tube I heated with a candle. Easy to do an a quick modification.
